I am a professional photographer and graphic designer, based in Kansas. I specialize in commercial still life as well as editorial portraiture. My passion is seeing light. My hobby is sending mail. I am a graduate of Wichita State University's school of fine arts, where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts graphic design. I also attended Hallmark Institute of Photography, where I received a certificate of completion, graduating in the top ten percent of my class. My work has been published in Photographer's Forum Best of College Photography 2010, and WomensFocus magazine. I received an Exhibition award from PPANE (Professional Photographer's Association of New England) while attending Hallmark. This blog; the dusty wingback, is an extension of a phrase that I created and live by, "As my life progresses, I feel I will collect more chairs".
